TECHNIQUEST@NEWI Discovery Centre offers a varied programme of events and activities throughout the year, changing on a regular basis to ensure there is always something new to see and do!

At weekends and during school holidays, gather round the 'Demo Lab' and watch live science demonstrations that surprise, enthuse and amuse! From big bangs to slime and lights to liquid nitrogen, Demo Lab presentations are fun and informative for all the family.

Presentations at 1pm and 3pm (at busier times additional presentations may be offered - check on arrival)

This fun family show gets to grips with forces with the aid of exciting demonstrations and experiments. Can you really sit on a seat of nails? Find out the answer, and a whole lot more, by seeing this new show at the Discovery Centre!
